BLUE RIBBON VENTURES FOUNDATION
Mission
To promote education, safety, sportsmanship, and competition by providing financial and educational assistance to individuals and organizations in their pursuit of developing riders into well rounded horsemen.
In 2011, The Blue Ribbon Ventures Foundation
awarded over $6,500 of assistance!
The Blue Ribbon Ventures Foundation will support riders in the areas of education, training, travel, and competition through the following grants:
Therapeutic Riding Grant - awarded to a special needs student to be used at an accredited NARHA program.
Hometown Hero Award - awarded to a member of the Armed Forces, local, state or national law enforcement, fire department or emergency medical services to purse the equestrian endeavors.
Education Award- awarded to a student who is pursing a career in the equestrian industry.
Equestrian Idol Grant- awarded to a rider or student to clinic with their equestrian idol.
Survivor Award- awarded to an individual who, with the support of their horse, has endured a life-changing event.
Working Student Award- awarded to an individual holding a working student position at a local facility and “lives and breathes” all things equestrian.
Educational Seminar Grant – awarded to a group or individual planning an event to educate attendants on aspects of horsemanship.
Emergency Assistance Fund - established to provide financial support in Emergency Situations. Assistance may be used for such items as Emergency Medical or Veterinary bills, or in cases of Disaster (such as barn fires, roof collapses etc.).
